Step 3 - Choosing a Web Host

There are a number of factors to consider when choosing a web host:

1. Price - this is an obvious consideration, and can vary significantly across web hosts and the particular package you choose.

2. Bandwidth - this is the amount of traffic allowed to visit your site each month. More bandwidth is required for sites where a lot of traffic is expected, and more bandwidth, as you would expect, increases the cost of the web hosting.

3. Website Size - the size of your website will determine how much space you require on the web host's servers. Large websites, incorporating advances web features wil take up more space on the web host's servers, and will attract a higher monthly charge.

4. Web Design - as discussed in step 2, most web hosts offer web creator tools to help you create your website. However, the quality of such tools varies from host to host.

5. Advanced Features - use of advances features such as databases etc will also increase the monthly hosting cost
